In the global abrasives industry, the market is almost dominated by European and American giants. We have to admit that their products are really great. At the same time, due to the high cost and high labor of European and American companies, the price of the products will be higher. However, due to the popularity of the brand, many companies have to choose to cooperate with them, resulting in high operating costs for these purchasing companies and end users.
Supporting OEM Brands
At the beginning of the factory, some companies that wanted to OEM their own brands cooperated with us. They found that our products can not only compete with these big brand companies in quality, but more importantly, our prices are much lower than those big brand companies. In this way, after many years of cooperation, we have supported these OEM brand companies. They not only have more room for profit, but also won the recognition of the local market with high quality.
Birth of THX Abrasives
While we were cooperating with these OEM brand companies, we found some problems, such as: OEM brand labels and packaging boxes require additional fees. Some companies do not have their own brands and just want to find a factory to cooperate with.
Therefore, THX Abrasives was born. We took on the cost of labels and packaging boxes ourselves, just to maximize the profits of our customers and provide brand resources for those companies without brands.
Entry into the Korean market
Because of the developed shipbuilding and automobile industries in Korea, there is a great demand for grinding wheels, so the company decided to enter the Korean market in 2015. However, due to the particularity of the Korean market, we cannot copy the product requirements of Europe and the United States to the Korean market. Therefore, after countless failures in 2 years, our factory finally developed the most suitable products for the Korean market, and both the sharpness and durability of the products reached the best state. Therefore, our founder MR. Lee, in the winter of 2017, with the cold wind on his head and the snow on his feet, took our successfully developed samples to Korea alone for promotion. After countless rejections and indifference, someone was finally willing to test our samples and became our customer with an annual purchase amount of over 10 million. Then THX Abrasives successfully opened up the Korean market.
Agent and overseas branch in Japan
In 2021, the company began to develop the Japanese market, because it is well known that Japan’s control of quality and details is no less than any other country. If we can enter the Japanese market, then other markets around the world can be entered smoothly. After 2 years of unremitting efforts, we finally succeeded in entering the Japanese market with “鬼の刃”, a brand with Japanese cultural elements, and stabilized in the top 5 market share. In order to better plan and expand overseas business, in November 2024, THXJAPAN (株式会社) was successfully established in Japan, and THX Abrasives’ first overseas branch was officialy opened.
US Market
The United States has always been the core market of THX abrasives, accounting for 60% of our company’s business, so the US market has always been our most important strategic development market. Almost all American customers who have tested our samples have praised us and actively carried out business exchanges.
Service is our highlight
In the many years of cooperation with customers, the most memorable words for us are “THX abrasives has the best service among all suppliers.” We firmly believe that no matter how good the quality and price are, without good service, the cooperation will not last long. Therefore, the service of THX abrasives will always be our biggest highlight.
