Material

These ceramic powders are of high purity and uniform particle size. Performance

  1. Flat type and conical type

  1.  Flat type (T27):

It is easy to install and fits tightly to flat workpieces. Usage

  1. Tool adaptation:Accurately select electric tools according to the flat typeor conical type shape, size and grinding task precision requirements of ceramic flap discs. Large-area grinding of flat type is suitable for high-power, high-speed and stable-speed angle grinders to ensure efficient grinding; fine grinding of inner angles, grooves, etc. on conical type should be done with small, flexible, and precisely controllable speed straight grinders to facilitate in-depth operation of complex parts. Make sure that the tool spindle and the flap disc installation hole match perfectly and the installation is firm and stable.
  2. Installation points:Be sure to shut down and cut off the power before installation, gently insert the flap discinto the spindle, and tighten the nut with a special wrench according to the standard torque. For flat type flap discs, strictly check the flatness to avoid tilted installation affecting the grinding effect; for conical type flap discs, confirm that the direction of the curved edge is correct, rotate the tool manually after installation, check the concentricity by feel or with the help of a measuring tool, and prevent violent vibrations caused by eccentricity to ensure grinding accuracy and tool life.
  3. Parameter control:finely adjust the tool speed and grinding pressure according to the hardness of the material of the grinding object and the goals of the grinding stage. For example, in the early stage of grinding soft electronic materials, the speed can be appropriately increased and the pressure can be lightly applied to speed up the progress; when processing hard aerospace parts, the speed needs to be reduced and the pressure needs to be slowed down, and the grinding quality needs to be fine-tuned. Grinding operation:The operator wears anti-static, dust-proof, and anti-cutting gloves, goggles and clean work clothes, and holds the tool firmly with both hands, so that the ceramic flap disctouches the workpiece at an appropriate angle (10° – 15° for the flat trype and 15° – 25° for the reverse type). Move the tool at a constant speed and smoothly according to the preset trajectory to ensure full coverage of the grinding area without omissions or duplications. Pay close attention to the temperature and vibration of the tool throughout the grinding process, and immediately stop the machine for investigation in case of abnormality to prevent problems before they occur.

Precautions

  1. Strict safety protection: In view of the complex grinding environment and the large amount of dust and debris, professional goggles must be worn throughout the process to prevent debris from splashing and injuring the eyes; thick gloves protect the hands from scratches; work clothes have both dust and anti-static functions, and dust masks are worn in dusty environments; eye-catching warning signs are set up in the operation area, and unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from entering to ensure personnel safety.
  2. Fine maintenance of equipment:Before each use, a comprehensive inspection of key components such as the electrical circuit, switch, and bearing of the power tool is carried out to ensure normal operation; immediately clean the dust and debris attached to the tool body and flap discafter use, regularly disassemble and maintain the tool in depth, and calibrate the accuracy; ceramic flap discs are replaced in time according to wear monitoring data, and replaced with new ones when the wear exceeds 10% to ensure accurate and stable grinding effects.

Storage method

  1. Dry and ventilated environment:flap discsshould be stored in a dry and well-ventilated indoor space, and the humidity should be controlled at 40% – 60%. A humid environment will cause the flap disc sand to become damp and clump, reducing the grinding performance.
  2. Classify and store in order: flap discsshould be classified and put on shelves according to different specifications and forms, and different batches should be clearly marked to avoid mixing and confusion. When stacking in multiple layers, soft partitions should be used to prevent extrusion and deformation.
