Flat type and conical type

1.  Flat type (T27):

   suitable for flat and relatively simple surface treatment. The flat edge design ensures uniform grinding effect, especially suitable for large-area deburring, grinding, cleaning and other work.

2. Conical type (T29):

   suitable for grinding corners and edges. The conical shape allows the edge of the flap disc to contact the workpiece surface first, helping to efficiently complete the grinding task of hard-to-reach places. It is often used for detail polishing and edge cleaning.

Grit

Non-woven abrasive cloths usually have multiple choices of grit from coarse to fine. Common grit sizes include:

• Coarse grit (brown color): suitable for grinding relatively rough surfaces and removing large areas of oxide layers, rust, etc.

• Medium grit (red color): suitable for general surface cleaning, deburring and light grinding.

• Fine grit (blue color): suitable for surface finishing and polishing, which can effectively improve the surface finish.

When choosing the grit size, it should be selected according to the grinding requirements of the workpiece. Coarse grit is suitable for processing workpieces with rough surfaces, while fine grit is suitable for fine processing to ensure higher surface quality.
